Making electronic prototypes [recommendation]

This are the first proto pcbs for a mini RF transmiter. The size was relevant. I decided to use smd components. No space wasted. The designer was inexperienced and the initial proto was a failure. Was not possible to mount components. The designer must be really involved in the building process, speaking fluently with the producer company. Any communication error could cause final failure.

At first stages, you must order little quantities to minimize losses. You can order 3-5 units to test solder, enclosing, etc. In the initial steps you must know you are going to spend some money. In order to save it sometimes it's a good idea to order proto pcbs with components soldered. This way you can test them inmediately once you receive it.
